Aug 13, 2023HGG RoboRail delivers all-in-one robotic plasma cutting
HGG has introduced the RoboRail, a small, robotic plasma machine that cuts 12-in. channel, tube columns and angles up to 8 by 8 in., and 1-1/4- to 10-in. pipe. It takes care of miscellaneous work and supplements larger-capacity machines with added flexibility.
Represented exclusively in the U.S. by Automated Layout Technology, the machine incorporates a Hypertherm plasma system to make cuts, holes, and copes in handrail pipe, stringer channels, box tubes, and angles.
The system accepts files directly from SDS/2, TEKLA, STEP, and various other modeling software to automate the cutting process.
